IT'S TIME TO LAUGH, LAUGH, AND THEN LAUGH SOME MORE!

It's been a very busy, yet very productive week over here as we're gearing up for more things that will be coming up in the next few weeks.  But in the midst of it all, something pretty funny yet significant happened…

A few nights ago, it was like a comedy of errors as I was trying to record a segment for an upcoming podcast episode. It was the evening at the end of a long day, and I was pretty tired, but still needed to get this done. So, I recorded my segment. Happy with what I recorded, I hit play so that I could do the edits, but I kept hearing this weird sound and my voice sounded weird, so I look at my microphone, only to see that I had forgotten to connect the microphone to my laptop. It had escaped my mind that I unplugged it earlier for a conference call. (Sigh) So, I plugged in the microphone, hit the button, and started recording…. Or so I thought. When I was done this second time around, I flipped to the screen to do my edits and saw that… I had not hit the record button. Agggghhhh!  😉 I was sitting there like “Really??? Seriously???” At this point, all I could do was laugh. 😉 Thankfully I wrote up a script for this rather than doing my usual freestyle so doing the recording for a THIRD time wasn’t so painful.

I posted this on my social media sites which gave quite a few folks a chuckle. What’s funny is that one of my friends on Facebook laughed, but the VERY next day, the exact same thing happened to him. LOL! He said that he immediately thought about me when it happened. 😉

Some would say that it’s payback for laughing, but I see it differently. When I was at the prophetic accelerator last month, Prophet Emma Stark prophesied that our voices were anointed for communication. Right now, the Lord is calling His Prophets to prophesy and to broadcast. So even though this would seem like a minor thing, it’s not. As God is bringing his voices forward, the enemy is trying to stop them even with “small” things such as not hitting the record button. But the thing that we must be aware of is our response. Scripture says, that “he who sits in heaven laughs” (Psalm 2:4).  God also laughs because he knows the outcome of the wicked one (Psalm 37:13) so that should be our response too. We are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), so our response should be just like our Father’s. We should LAUGH at the enemy’s tactics because we know his outcome. 😉

So, here’s my encouragement to you, the next time the enemy tries to distract you with something even if it’s something minor, LAUGH! Laugh at that joker because you are seated in heavenly places while his time is short! 😉
